Royal Hobart Hospital

The RHH has existed on its current site almost 200 years, with the oldest current building dating back to 1939. The RHH is Tasmania’s largest hospital and the major teaching and research hospital of the University of Tasmania. The completion of K-Block will increase the floor area of the RHH campus by 50 per cent. The scope of the project includes construction of 39,000 m2 of new space and refurbishment of 11,000 m2 of existing clinical areas (including early works) and site-wide infrastructure upgrades.
